What’s Next
The strong box office performance of ‘Drishyam 3’ has led to a reshuffling of other film releases. Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan’s film ‘Udta Teer’ has had its release postponed to October 23, 2026. Additionally, the Marathi film ‘Gondhal’, India’s official entry for the Oscars 2027, is scheduled for a special screening on October 9, 2026.

Similarly, while Nagarik News reported ‘Kalki’s’ global collection at INR 95 crore and ‘Salaar’s’ at INR 91 crore, other industry reports show significantly higher first-day worldwide earnings for these films, with ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ earning approximately INR 191 crore and ‘Salaar’ earning INR 178.70 crore globally on their respective opening days.
